Following a small break on the schedule, the Fire Power Honda team returned to action at the twelfth round of 2023 Monster Energy Supercross this past weekend. The race was held inside of State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on the west coast, which means that Dean Wilson was the squad’s sole representative.

Wilson was ninth in timed qualification and confirmed that his raw pace aboard the CRF450F is worthy of a position inside of the top ten. ’15’ was very consistent over the Triple Crown, which features three individual mains, and progressed as the night wore on. Tenth was secured in mains one and two, then he shined with a ninth in the final stint. Ninth was the spot that he secured in the overall classification, in addition, so he broke into the top ten for the first time in 2023 Monster Energy Supercross! Finally, the curse was broken and this valuable momentum will serve the star well in the coming weeks.

The Atlanta Motor Speedway is the next destination for the Fire Power Honda team. Dean Wilson will compete in the premier division and continue his charge for ninth in the standings. Atlanta marks the return of 250SX East too, so Max Anstie will resume his successful term aboard the CRF250R.

Dean Wilson: “I was really happy to finish ninth in Glendale! Surprisingly, it was a good day. I came down with a cold on Friday night and felt low on energy throughout the day. 10-10-9 scores were solid though. Now it is time to keep the ball rolling! Thank you to the team for all of the support.”
