Driven by Compassion: Firepower Honda Supports St. Jude in Nashville
Firepower Honda is fully dedicated to supporting St. Jude as they head into this weekend’s race in Nashville. The team is back at full strength, with Dean Wilson returning from injury and Max Anstie eager to repeat his win from last year.
In addition to their racing goals, the team is passionately backing St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Both the team and their sponsors are joining forces to raise awareness, including the creation of FLY Racing gear designed by children from the hospital. Sam, the owner of SKDA, and Team Director Yarrive have also collaborated to bring colorful graphics to the pits, aimed at bringing joy to the children.
Yarrive expressed the deeper significance of this event, emphasizing the importance of supporting children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Both Anstie and Wilson share his sentiments, understanding the impact of St. Jude’s work, particularly as fathers themselves.
Wilson, grateful to be back on the track after his injury, is focused on making it to the main event and pushing through as he regains his full strength.
“I’m a realist; I’m stepping back into a competitive class. My goal is simple: to secure a spot in the main event and deliver 20 minutes of consistent, solid racing,” remarked Wilson
Anstie, equally committed to the cause, hopes to replicate his previous victory here in Nashville, while cherishing the opportunity to support such a noble cause. With his family by his side, he is determined to give his all and strive for the top of the podium once again.
“First and foremost, I feel honored to contribute to such a noble cause. Their work is truly inspiring, facing a much tougher race than mine. As for my race, my aim remains clear: to replicate last year’s victory. It’s been an excellent week, and I’m feeling confident and ready,” expressed Anstie
*Plastics will be signed after racing tomorrow night and provided to Supercross for their Auction to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
