Eager to end our stint in Motocross on a high at Millville
Still riding a wave of momentum after a successful outing at Southwick, Fire Power Honda are eager to end their stint in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross on a high at Millville this weekend. Securing a brace of top-five finishes in just their second outdoor event in the United States was a testament to the hard work that occurs behind closed doors each week.
Now, as was the plan from the start of the season, Max Anstie will pilot his CRF450R in the 450MX category at the iconic Millville circuit before focusing on the future. Valuable information that will serve both Anstie and the team well in years to come has been garnered thus far.
The Fire Power Honda squad will reveal plans for future events, as well as additional signings, in the coming weeks. The Motocross of Nations is something that occupies a spot on the team’s agenda, if Anstie is called to represent Team Great Britain at RedBud on September 25/26.
Martin Davalos (Fire Power Honda Team Manager): “Learning was always the goal when we signed up for these three Lucas Oil Pro Motocross rounds and we have learnt a lot so far. The incredible results that Max secured at Southwick were a nice bonus too, of course, and great way to thank our loyal sponsors. We will strive for much of the same at Millville this weekend and then start working on our plans for the future.”
Max Anstie (Fire Power Honda #34): “The progress thus far is great, we continued testing this week with Factory Connection and we will continue to learn. We have made improvements to the chassis and motor this week and we will see how they translate to speed on the track”
